A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn. The reject side of the Gewindelehrdorn bears a red ring. The good side of the Gewindelehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand (without extra force). If not, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (rejected). The reject side can screw in by hand up to two turns. More than that, the thread is rejected. A reference temperature of 20°C applies to workpieces and gauges. VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate upon request. Calibration is done in an independent lab following set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
